Who this covers
Refunds are about fees paid to Matrix Mapgrid for candlestick pattern reading sittings. We do not sell shipped products, software licences, or recorded course libraries, so those are not in scope.
Eligibility and timeframe
Write to hello@matrix-mapgrid.digital with the sitting, the date you paid, and whether you want a cancellation, a reschedule, or a refund. We acknowledge within two working days. The clock for the percentages below starts on the working day we receive that email, not on the day you meant to send it.
Small-group studio (eight sessions)
The 6,000 THB deposit is refundable in full if you cancel more than fourteen days before session one. Between fourteen days and forty-eight hours before session one, the deposit is kept and any balance you have already paid is returned. Inside forty-eight hours, or after session one has begun, the deposit is non-refundable. If you have paid the 18,900 THB balance and then withdraw:
- Before session one: balance refunded; deposit treated as above.
- After session one and before session four: 40% of the full fee is retained for work already started (pack printed, chair held, first marking), and the remainder is refunded.
- From session four onward: the fee is non-refundable. You may, at our discretion, sit a later intake for the unused evenings if a chair exists; that is a courtesy, not a right.
Weekend clinic
The 8,500 THB clinic fee is refundable in full more than ten days before the Saturday. Inside ten days, 50% is retained. Inside forty-eight hours, or if you miss Saturday, the fee is non-refundable. A Sunday-only seat is not sold, so missing Saturday is a missed clinic. Lunch you bought on the soi is never refunded by us.
Private hours and review hours
Cancel or reschedule at least twenty-four hours before the sitting for a full refund or a move to a new slot. Inside twenty-four hours, or a no-show, the hour is charged. If you arrive with blank charts for a review hour, we will end the sitting and still charge the hour, because the format cannot be turned into a first lesson on the spot; we will point you to the clinic or studio instead.
Rescheduling
Studio groups are a fixed cycle. We do not run a private make-up for an evening you missed unless you were ill and wrote before the sitting; then we will try to fold the missed board work into a review hour at the review-hour fee, not for free. Clinics move only if we cancel them.
If we cancel
If Matrix Mapgrid cancels a sitting — trainer illness, the room unusable, too few enrolments to teach a clinic honestly — you may take a full refund or move to the next published date. We will not keep a deposit in that case.
No-shows
A studio evening you miss without notice counts as delivered. Repeated no-shows may lead us to refuse a later intake. We will say so in writing.
Work already started and materials
Once a studio pack is printed with your name, that pack is yours even if you later withdraw; we do not take it back for restock. The cost of that pack is part of the retained portion described above, not a separate merchandise refund. We do not refund pens, tea, or taxi fares.
How a refund is paid
Refunds go back by bank transfer to the account that paid us, within ten working days after we agree the amount. We do not send cash. Processing time depends on your bank after we release the transfer. If a third party paid your fee, we refund that account unless you and the payer both write otherwise.
Exceptions
If Thai consumer law gives you a stronger right in a particular case, that right prevails. If you were mis-sold a sitting as a signals service, you may have a full refund of unused fees; write with the facts. We do not refund because a market moved against a name you hold. We never promised a trade.
